Welcome to Penumbra. We are direct importers of unusual and interesting items from around the globe. Our suppliers are based in several countries including Morocco, India, Thailand and Bali. We import directly from suppliers within each location – no middlemen involved – so we can offer our products at very competitive prices.

We have built very close relationships with all our suppliers – many of the items displayed are unique and bespoke to Penumbra, having been specifically commissioned for us.

Wherever possible, we work with suppliers who use raw materials from sustainable and ecologically sound sources and have acceptable employment policies, pay levels, etc.

We have personally travelled to meet many of our suppliers in order to better understand the way they do things, and to 'customise' the products we buy from them.
